Large Group Worship Gathering - Thursdays - 8:00pm - UC Chapel During the Spring 2012 Semester we will have... Let the Nations be Glad series. Every other week we'll look at God's heart for "every tribe and language and people and nation". We'll apply our Christ given commission to Go, Pray, Give, Mobilize and Welcome. Hear and gain God's compassion for the nations. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:19-20 Open Topic Discussion nights. Every other week you pick the topics and you pick the questions. We'll share thoughts, challenge paradigms, and look into God's word for His truth. Dinner and TEA (Training in Evangelism and Apologetics) - Saturdays, 5pm - 7pm, Timmy's House (225 Melwood Ave.) Ever wonder how to start up a spiritual conversation? Are you wanting some practical tools for sharing your faith? Not sure how to answer difficult spiritual questions? Beginning this semester we're getting together on Saturdays to talk about these things. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions and share perspectives. Leadership is collaborative, with opportunities for all of us to facilitate a weekly discussion. Dinner is provided. More details coming soon. Exploring Christianity Course - Monday Nights - 8:30pm - Doherty Hall 1117 No churchy or religious stuff. Just a study and discussion group on the basics of Christianity. John Stott's book Basic Christianity is the text for the class. Participants will receive a copy of the book. Everyone is invited, especially people new to, and inquisitive of, the teachings of Christ.
